Just Art Dead, a dark experimental music production duo, are JP Kabche and Javs Lugo.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, JP and Javs have been friends and creative partners since 1994. They are multi-instrumentalist composers, music producers, and audio engineers. Together, they have written more than 100 songs while part of various musical groups and experimental projects over the past two decades.

Just Art Dead both blurs the line between metal, electronic, and cinematic music and seamlessly navigates these three worlds through a combination of analog and electronic arrangements, which comprise their signature sound.

As experimental music producers and composers, their catalog ranges from full-length dark metal albums to original musical scores for film.

Their formal academic studies include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Business and Entrepreneurial Innovation, and Professional Certificates in General Music Studies from Berklee College of Music
